Issue 30 ISIConnect NEWS highlights the new callback service to help keep you even more in touch with family and friends and 'Spotlight On' shows you how to check your account balance while abroad ! 'Best of the Fests' features pedal power in the US, while Costa Rica shows off one of the worlds most natural wonders and it's Mayday in Germany! The Missing Link mentions interesting and odd travel information to surely make you think twice before checking-in! As per usual, ISIC delivers worldwide discounts and finally, 'The Vent' is your place to exhale.
Issue 29 It's ISIConnect NEWS time again - Time to read about what the world has on offer for everyone! ISIConnect NEWS shows us new access numbers to help keep in touch with family and friends, with 'Spotlight On' showing us hints and tips to beating the worldwide epidemic, commonly refered to as SPAM ! 'Best of the Fests' shows us an Italiano fiesta in NYC (what the?), the infamous Oktoberfest (Guten Tag!) as well as a Jazz festival in the UK ! The Missing Link uncovers a wealth of information about cities you may be traveling to...or would just like to know more about ! 'One from left field' is all things Coca-Cola this time round...facts about the world's most popular soft-drink.
Issue 28 In ISIConnect NEWS this bi-month 'What's New' is doing its part for the global village with new Access numbers to provide access from more destinations - some cheaper too ! 'Spotlight on' reminds us that we can listen to our emails over the phone - convenience being ever so valuable whilst traveling abroad ! 'Best of the fests' sees a tribute to the King, a traditional folk festival in Cambridge and the annual Melbourne International Film Festival. 'One from the left field' will be sure to lift an eyebrow, while 'The Missing link' shines the spotlight on some of the world's most interesting, weird and wonderful places to stay.
Issue 27 In ISIConnect NEWS this month 'What's New' shows off some of our new features when you 'Buy Premium email'...100MB storage with a SPAM filter anyone? You can also find more about our Travel Tools including your own private 'Online Travel Safe', and for the experienced phone users - dialling ahead without waiting for the prompts ! 'Best of the fests' keeps it live and kicking in the UK, Germany and the Netherlands too. 'One from the left field' provides a profile on using your ISIC in Cape Town, South Africa, while 'The Missing link' shines some light on the most grooving music festivals and the most happening nightlife/club scenes.
Issue 26 ISIConnect NEWS for March 2004 is full of tips and ideas to keep you connected and content whilst out and about. 'What's New' tells all about our exciting website redesign - making the service an even more enjoyable experience! 'Best of the fests' sees the Grand Prix season start afresh for 2004, along with St Patrick's Day and another delectable wine festival. 'Spotlight On' shows you how to use some brand spanking new and nifty Text Messaging services to keep you connected to family and friends while traveling. The Missing link has some great new websites to check out, and don't miss One from left field, you'll be growing all kinds of crazy fruits in the veggie patch.
Issue 25 In ISIConnect NEWS this bi-month we have new access numbers so that you can now call home from up to 75 countries. Receiving Spam? The new Inbox filter now lets you hide messages from people you don't know. Best of the Fests tells you how you can celebrate New Years! 'Spotlight on' tells you how you can receive a 20% special holiday bonus when you recharge your account. Read about Asia's best kept secret and some Australian experiences not to miss in 'The Missing Link'. All this and more in this bumper issue of ISIConnect NEWS.
Issue 24 In ISIConnect NEWS this month you can find out all about Voicemail, so you don't have to miss out on hearing what's new back home. Read-on about other fellow travellers and their best holiday meals in addition to best of the fests that turns up pirate shows and film festivals from the US and France, as well as music, wine and food festivals from the land down-under. The left field story is indeed just that - wish it happened more often actually!
Issue 23 In the August/September 2003 ISIConnect NEWS, learn all about Auto Recharge, so you won't run out of credit during those important calls. You can also get your questions answered about account expiry. This month you can read about fellow members most awesome adventure holiday. Best of the fest gets on its bike to a two-wheeled festival in Milan, then revs up it with metal muscle over three separate countries, and then rides it home on the tinniest horses getting around.
Issue 22 As you can tell from our welcome, ISIConnect NEWS is going bi-monthly. In this edition we are featuring some of your most FAQ's just in case it could help any ISIConnect NEWS readers out there. You can find out how to Speed dial when phoning home. The Missing Link features some interesting sites on responsible travel and different projects that are on-going. Best of the fests checks out parading statues in Japan, Pharaohs touring in Venice, and gourmet delights in South Africa. You can also read some great tales from your fellow ISIConnect travellers who have won some free credit just for telling us a wicked story.
Issue 21 In ISIConnect NEWS this month you can discover the joys of Auto-login where you no longer need to enter your account number and PIN each time you call the ISIConnect phone service. Issue 20 In ISIConnect NEWS February edition you can discover the joys of sending text messages from the ISIConnect website. You can also read about ISIConnect NEWS reader's favourite accommodation, and enter our competition to tell us about the worst holiday you have ever experienced. Best of the fests delves into the world of masks, music and comedy in the snow. The Missing link has some super sites to check out weird travel destinations or space adventures.
Issue 19 In ISIConnect NEWS January edition, we put the spotlight on ContactMe cards, which are a convenient way of handing out your own personal contact details to friends and family. You can also win more ISIConnect call time by sending us your opinions, recommendation about websites, or entering our competition. The Missing Link uncovers the best websites for locating wicked hostels and travel destinations. And finally, Best of the Fests is getting into the travel expos and celebrating all things French.
Issue 18 Bye bye 2002. Roll on holidays! December's ISIConnect NEWS tells you all about our new information page that you will see when you login. You can now also send and receive information via text messages to and from mobile phone using ISIConnect, check it out in Spotlight on. Best of the Fests uncovers December's rock monster the Big Day Out that is being unleashed down under and London's New Year parade. Don't forget to check out the great ISIC discounts around the world.
Issue 17 ISIConnect NEWS November edition includes the impending arrival of Compose text messaging, so you can use all eight fingers to type a text message and give your poor thumbs a rest. Auto-recharge will save you from running out of ISIConnect credit, and of course you can win free talk time by entering our comps or email us with tales or tips. Best of the Fest mixes some tango with nutty professors and feeds them all chocolate, and check out some cool text messaging tips in the Missing Link.
Issue 16 ISIConnect NEWS October edition reveals new upcoming services allowing you to both send SMS and receive SMS alerts. Check it out in What's new? Spotlight on gives you the run down on how to use our funky Listen to email service. Have a stab at our Travel whispers competition, and read about some of our ISIConnect News reader's favourite modes of transport. Best of the fests gets racy this month, with erotic gardens in France, wet and wild action in Greece, and piercing in Thailand. The Missing Link hooks you into some excellent sites for info on visas and the all-important duty free allowance.
Issue 15 ISIConnect NEWS September edition reveals the saucy new ISIConnect website and tells you how you can also customise your sent mail. You can win free chat time by telling us about your favourite mode of transport, or just tell us what you think of the service. Check out some fabulous festivals this months, from the best wine in the world, to the most wearable art you have every seen. The Missing Link gives you some tips of booking sports tickets or following your favourite sports teams while you are away.
Issue 14 ISIConnect NEWS, just like ISIConnect, is evolving. From August onwards you will receive your ISIConnect newsletter in HTML format, receiving all the colour, pics and style that ISIConnect NEWS words have intimated for years. ISIConnect NEWS also shines the spotlight on the groovy new ISIConnect home page that will soon be born, plus gives you a few tips about Subscriptions. As always we are giving away some free talk time too. Best of the Fests breaks to the beat of Notting Hill, while taking in the radical rides of the X-Games and sleek summer styles of the Copenhagen International Fashion Fair.
Issue 13 ISIConnect NEWS July edition reveals how to listen (yes listen!) to your email over the phone. Find out how you can get free talk time by telling a friend how excellent ISIConnect is, or just by giving us the low-down on the best Cyber cafe you've ever logged in to. Best of the fests unveils the exhilaration of the Tour de France, the raw human power of the Lumberjack Bowl, and the weirdness of the Bog Bike Championship. The Missing Link has some excellent sites for getting the inside info on travelling around Oz, or keeping in touch when you are homesick.
Issue 12 ISIConnect NEWS June edition has plenty of info about how to get more out of your ISIConnect account and your travel experience. If you want extra quality info in your Inbox, 'Spotlight On' uncovers the subscriptions you can receive from ISIConnect News, to competitions and service updates. For the bargain hunters out there, our Summer Special is detailed in What's New. The Missing Link has some excellent sites for those wanting to send gifts to loved ones who are states or continents away. Best of the Fests gets royal, radical and racing.
Issue 11 ISIConnect NEWS May edition explains why ISIConnect "times out" to protect your account and offers a few tips on how to maximize your email time. Start sending out your ContactMe Cards, and at the same time give your friends and family an easy way to stay in touch. In Best of the Fests we are soaking up the delights of Greece. The islands, the dances, the festivals, it's all covered. The Missing Link features some useful websites to visit, and one from left field tells a tale of why brown snakes and brown bottles don't mix.
Issue 10 In the April ISIConnect NEWS you can find out just how much more ISIConnect gives you in terms of space compared with other email providers, (hint - about 46 whopping MB more!). Best of the Fests gives you the low down on the high action of Snowbombing, the highlights of the flamenco fest in Seville, and the spectacular London Marathon. You can enter our fabulous competitions, write and give us your feedback and tips, or just recharge your account in April and receive bonus cash in your account.
Issue 9 In March's ISIConnect NEWS you can find out how to speed through the ISIConnect menu faster than Michael Schumacher. We also have a feature on ISIConnect "ContactMe Cards", which you can print out from the web site and give to all your friends and relatives. We have some tips of great web sites from an ISIConnect NEWS reader, and some tips on vending machine use in One from left field.
Issue 8 In February's edition of ISIConnect NEWS, have a peek at Best of the Fests to check out what's on in the wide world this month, including the carnival in Rio, giant parading lemons in France and all the fashion highlights in London. The Missing Link has a clutch of snappy websites in case you need some romantic advice, fresh music or mini books to read online. As usual there are plenty of chances to grab some free talk time if you write to us and tell us interesting things about your travels or about our service.
Issue 7 In the New Year, find out how to get multiple copies of your Contact details printed on handy cards to give to friends and family, so they can keep in touch. ISIConnnect NEWS also unearths the best of January's fests, including Grand Slam tennis, Jazz and Mardi Gras. Also check out the best search engines to find Australian, UK, and USA web sites.
Issue 6 The December ISIConnect NEWS is overflowing with goodies. In Best of the Fests we are flying high in Austria, getting groovy in Australia and dancing in the streets of the Bahamas. One from Left Field unlocks the secrets of the Australian vernacular, and Travel Whispers features ISIConnect NEWS readers favourite action adventure.
Issue 5 November's ISIConnect NEWS releases new access numbers in Australia for Adelaide, Brisbane, Canberra and Perth. Now it is cheaper than ever to call from Australia. The Missing Link offers a travel database designed for disable travellers and find out where every public toilet is in Australia! Best of the Fests tells you what's going on around the globe including a camel fair in India and a 2 day canoe race in Cambodia.
Issue 4 In October's ISIConnect NEWS, find out how ISIConnect continues to break down communication barriers, as ISIConnect's web site goes multilingual. You can also find out how you can streamline your use of the ISIConnect service by using the Account Maintenance section of the phone menu to check your balance or change your PIN. Issue 3 September's ISIConnect NEWS informs you about the new and improved ways ISIConnect lets you tell all your family and friends about what a fabulous time you are having. Best of the Fests offers an update about film festivals in Canada, beer bonanza's in Germany and global music in South Africa. Check out the suggested web sites that keep you informed about staying veggie, fine wine locations and keeping your backpack light in the Missing Link.
Issue 2 In the August ISIConnect NEWS, read our step-by-step instructions to help your friends and family stay in touch when you're on the road. It's just too easy. And if you tell us what you think of the ISIConnect service or this newsletter, or you write to us about your most "interesting" eating experience, we'll credit you're ISIConnect account so you can stay in touch for free.
